ADMISSIONS
Thank you for considering The Branch School for your child. As a private school in West Houston since 1977, we provide an outstanding education for three-year-olds through sixth graders. We deeply appreciate the care that you are taking to find the right school and would like to help in any way that we can to ensure a good fit for your child.
Your first step in the admissions process is to schedule an appointment to tour the school. Because we view ourselves as partners with you in your child's education, we want you to see our facilities, view the classroom, and ask any questions you might have. You will also see our Outdoor Classroom where students experience environmental education.
Your next steps would then be as follows:
- Fill out an application and attach $100 application fee (goes towards enrollment)
- Schedule an appointment for your child to visit the classroom.
- Parents will meet with the Head of School either before or during their child's scheduled classroom visit.
- For children entering second grade or above, a testing date is scheduled.
- Upon acceptance, a contract is extended to reserve a place for your child.
Since class sizes are limited, enrollment decisions for current parents are made by February 15th. Applications are accepted throughout the school year, with admissions subject to openings. Financial aid information is available upon request.
